Flint Area Science Fair

Purpose: Automate FASF processes including fair registration and judge recruitment.

The original Flint Area Science Fair website offered only a downloadable PDF of the Fair's annual handbook. Working with their webmaster, Orbro automated student registration for the fair and developed an easy tool for downloading online registrations to the Fair's existing student database. Orbro has also recently added an online judges area to the FASF website, which allows the Fair to recruit new judges and to sign up judges on their website.

Michigan Conference on Affordable Housing

Client: The Michigan Conference on Affordable Housing (MCOAH)

Purpose:Automate several of the registration processes for the MCOAH annual conference.

Orbro developed several tools to automate established processes for the MCOAH in setting up their annual conference. MCOAH conferences are organized into six tracks with regular sessions led by a session leader or moderator and featuring several panelists. Using our online tools, each track's organizers can monitor and update sessions, session leaders, and panelists. The MCOAH office then receives this data, aggregates it, and assembles the conference program.
